Barbara Jane (Walton) Wadlund

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of the beloved Barbara Jane Wadlund (née Walton). Barbara, 85, was born August 27, 1940, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Berwyn with her two brothers, Henry (Dawn) and Herb (Lale), and graduated from Conestoga High School. Barbara married the love of her life, the late Victor Avery Wadlund, and together they were married for over 59 years.
Barbara was a mother to three children, Victor Avery Wadlund Jr. (Diana), Bonnie Jean Shew (Edward), and Donna Lynn McCool (Patrick); grandmother to Lauren (Robert), Matthew, and Michael; great-grandmother to Sophia and Avery.

Barbara worked for many years as a retail associate for Hallmark. She enjoyed spending time in her backyard at the pool and vacationing at the Jersey and Carolina beaches with her husband and family. You could often fi nd Barbara reading or working on a jigsaw puzzle. Barbara will be remembered for her kindness and the love she had for her family.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 10-11am at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, Pennsylvania 19008 followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.  Interment at Media Cemetery, Media, PA  19063.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara’s honor to the Marple Public Library, 2599 Sproul Road, Broomall, Pennsylvania 19008.
