Barbara Noble Obituary

Barbara Ann Noble, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025. Born on January 24, 1950, in the heart of Philadelphia, Barbara’s life was a tapestry of meaningful relationships, intellectual pursuits, and a passion for the simpler pleasures in life.

The daughter of the late Daniel J. McCole Jr. and Pearl Mary Barbara (Garthaus) McCole, Barbara inherited a spirit of generosity and a heart full of compassion. Her siblings, Joanne M. (McCole) Erhardt and Daniel J. McCole III, along with her nieces and nephews, Charles W. Erhardt Jr., Janeen Connell, Charleen Erhardt, Melani rae Taillon, Harmani Erhardt, Michele McCole Moss, Danielle McCole, and Joanne McCole, were the recipients of her boundless love and unwavering support. Barbara had a unique ability to make each of them feel as though they were the center of her world.

A proud graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in 1968, Barbara's zest for knowledge and her pursuit of personal growth never waned. Her career journey saw her bring joy and enthusiasm to places such as the Bubblegum Factory, L'Eggs, Ris Paper, and QVC. Her colleagues and associates will remember her as a dedicated and interesting individual who brought a sense of fun and camaraderie to the workplace.

Beyond her professional achievements, Barbara's personal interests were as diverse and vibrant as her character. A devoted collector of fine porcelain, she had a particular fondness for Hummel figurines, each piece reflecting her appreciation for artistry and craftsmanship. Her passion for literature was equally profound; Barbara found both solace and excitement in the pages of books, where her imagination could roam freely. An avid lover of the outdoors, she cherished the serenity and adventure found in camping and hiking, pursuits that allowed her to connect deeply with the natural beauty around her. Barbara's adventurous spirit extended to her love for small convertible cars, where the thrill of the open road and the satisfying hum of the engine brought her pure joy. She adored her collection of cars, including her beloved VW Bug, a classic MG TD ’52, and a sleek Mazda Miata, each vehicle a reflection of her dynamic, free-spirited nature.

Barbara's love for animals was a defining characteristic of her compassionate nature. Her furry children, Sabrina and a lifetime of beloved pets, were the recipients of her tender care. They were not just companions but an integral part of her family, bringing her joy and comfort throughout her life.

Her loving partner, Donald Fuller, along with his children, Robert, James, and Kenneth Fuller, were blessed to share in Barbara's journey. Her love and selflessness extended to them, embracing them as her own and enriching their lives with her presence.

Those who knew Barbara would describe her as loving and selfless—a woman who lived her life with a genuine concern for others. Her ability to find interest in the stories and experiences of those she encountered made her a cherished confidant and friend.

Barbara's absence will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, her passion for the wonders of the world, and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Barbara Ann Noble lived a life that was not only interesting but also deeply impactful, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Her spirit will be carried forward in the memories of those who loved her, a guiding light for generations to come.
