Anthony James Silvestri

    Anthony James Silvestri, (Tony, Sonny) age 91, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023. Anthony was born in 1931 in West Chester Pennsylvania to parents of Italian descent, Antonio Silvestri and Lena Silvestri (De Angelo).

   Anthony was a US Navy Veteran who served two tours in the Korean War. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and enjoyed watching college football. Anthony is survived by; his wife, Edith of 54 years, step-daughter Yolanda Rodriguez, step-son Raymond Rodriguez (Ana), step-daughter Maritza Crescitelli (Michael) and daughter Patty Burkentine. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren. Anthony was predeceased by his step-son William Rodriguez and his brother Vincent Silvestri  (the late Ann). Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday January 20th, 11:00am at St. Agnes Church 231 W Gay St. West Chester PA 19380. Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Pottstown Pike, West Chester.
