Annette (Ditzel) Rainey, age 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday 13th of February. Annette was born on July 3rd 1948. She was predeceased by her parents Eleanor and Forrest Ditzel, and her sister Elvira (Ditzel) Tsiouris. Annette is survived by her husband of 49 years Frank Rainey, daughter Lisa Brown (Chip), her son Michael Rainey (Jamie), her Grandchildren who she adored, Gabrielle DiGiambattista (Gina), Anthony, Nicholas, Bella, Olivia, and Michael, her brother Charles Ditzel (JoAnn) along with loving nieces and cousins.
Annette was a middle child of three children, but always the first to lend a helping hand. Annette’s overall childhood was filled with family and lots of laughter. With ten Aunts and Uncles and many cousins, there was always lots of fun at Grandmom’s house on Sundays and holidays. And Annette carried that attitude of fun and love for family, with her for the rest of her life and shared it proudly with everyone she met. Annette was a caring woman who spent most of her life thinking about helping others. Words just don’t seem to be enough to describe a life so well spent enjoying the happiness of others. Her quick wit and beautiful smile made her easy to love.
Annette will be fondly remembered as one of the most loving and caring people ever and her absence will surely leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew her.
