Ann Miriam (Kronemeyer) McClay

Ann McClay passed away on January 19, 2021.  She was the beloved mother of Patty (Bill) and Jerry (Barbara).  She had 4 grandchildren, Jack, Madalyn, Nathan and Brenna who she loved very much. 

Ann was predeceased by parents John and Catherine, her sisters Agnes, Mickey, Mary and Catherine.  Along with her 6 sisters, Ann graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.  She is survived by her sisters Terry (Jack) and Clare (Al).

Ann resided in Hershey’s Mill where she volunteered in various opportunities.  Some are the Summer Concerts, Caresharers, and the TV station HMCTV where she volunteered for over 10 years.  She also ran some bus trips and was on their committee.  Ann was also a counter in Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic church for a while.

Ann loved to dance, take pictures and to be with people. The Mummers strut was, at times, part of her dancing.  Ann was a member of the Social Club at Hershey’s Mill and Surrey Survivors.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and cryptograms.  Christmas was Ann’s favorite time of the year and often her tree was up and decorated at Thanksgiving. 

Mass of Christian burial was held on January 23rd at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church.
