Ann DellaPolla (“MeMom”), 64, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Briarcliff, Delaware County; the daughter of (the late) John and Regina (nee Conway) Phillips. She was the beloved wife of William DellaPolla, loving mother to Fawne Dolan (Dan), William DellaPolla and Tiffani Eash (Colin); devoted grandmother to Tristan Dolan, Justin Walsh, Shaylen Dolan, Connor Eash, Cameron Eash and Anwyn Dolan; and dear sister of Regina Buckley and Eileen Craft (Gene). She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John Phillips and Frank Phillips, and one nephew, Tom Coppick.
Ann grew up in Glenolden and was a graduate of Saint Gabriel’s and Archbishop Prendergast High School. She worked as a Realtor and a Care Giver in the local area for many years. She was a patient listener with a charismatic personality, great sense of adventure and unlimited energy that everyone gravitated towards throughout her entire life. She was an avid animal lover, especially of her cherished cats. She also had a special talent for making all types of arts and crafts- from flower arrangements, to wreaths and numerous other special hand-made mementos for family and friends. Her grandchildren were the center of her universe; this was obvious to everyone who witnessed her infectious child-like spirit and open and generous heart. She always demonstrated fortitude and strength in the face of adversity and drew that strength from being around family. From spending summer vacations at the beach, to her magical Christmas gatherings, she thrived on the time spent with her family making memories and having a good time. She was truly a living angel, who gave selflessly until the very end. She was a beautiful soul who will be dearly missed and remain forever in our hearts.
