Maureen and Andrew "Jack"  were a teenage love story. "My Dad always said my Mom was the most beautiful girl in school", and she was. So as God graciously allowed, my Dad was waiting to welcome his bride into heaven arriving two days before her.

Prior to his career at PGW, Jack was a member of the United States Army.  After 40 years at the Philadelphia Gas Works and Maureen raising the family, Jack retired to spend time with Maureen doing the things they loved.  They loved to travel.  Discovering their roots in Ireland was one of their greatest highlights. Every summer you would find them down the shore in Sea Isle City spending time with their children and grandchildren.  They rarely missed an opportunity to spend time with old friends from West Catholic at Burrs at the Beach each summer.  They enjoyed the warm weather and spent their winters in Fort Myers, Florida.  What meant the most to them was celebrating special occasions, sporting events, school functions and all family get-togethers.
