Alice Demeusy Sell

Alice Demeusy Sell, 95, of Lima Estates in Media, PA, formerly of Havertown, Upper Darby, and Philadelphia, joined her heavenly Father on July 26, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucy Hunter and Georgette Smith. She is survived by her children, Robert (Judy) Sell of Horseheads, NY, and Patricia (Jeffrey) Green of Ponte Vedra, FL. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Christi (Jonathan) Stewart, Rebecca (Philip) Schmehl, Michael (Amy) Sell, Brian (Jodie) Sell, and Jason (Chelsea) Green, and 12 great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Girls High School in Philadelphia in 1945, and a graduate of Presbyterian School of Nursing in 1948. Nursing was both her career and her passion, and she worked over 50 years in the nursing profession, most of the time at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Alice was a long-term member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Havertown.

A Memorial Service, officiated by the Rev. Paul Bammel, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 27 in Lima Estates Auditorium at 411 N. Middletown Road, Media, PA. Friends may call there at 10 AM, or at a reception after the service.
