Adrienne M. (Turner) Dowling

On October 30, 2023, Adriene Dowling passed from this life into eternal life surrounded by her family. Born in West Philadelphia on September 2, 1939, Adrienne attended West Catholic High School. Adrienne lived in Yeadon, Pa and raised 6 children, she was the loving Mother to Jimmy, Michael, Kathleen (Kiesel), Bobby, Joey, and Ed Dowling. 

Adrienne lived a rich and full life. She had a strong character; she was very independent and always with a positive attitude. Whether she was waitressing at local restaurants or leading activities for residents at senior living communities or off playing canasta with friends – Adrienne was very active, on the go, high spirited and always smiling.  She loved her family dearly and she very much enjoyed time with all the grandchildren (Krystle, Kevin, Jimmy, Peter, Robert, Rebecca, Rachael, Lindsey, and Molly.  Even more joy came when she was blessed with 6 great grandchildren.  Adrienne was many things to our family she was a dearly loved Mother, Grandmother, and Gigi to all of us and is going to be deeply missed.  She knew how to fix every problem, and always make everyone feel loved and special.  She was creative and come holidays or birthdays – she would always be baking.  She was also active in her community, volunteering her time and organizing holiday donations and celebrations. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 11, 2023 at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA  19006 where friends may call 9:30 - !0:45 A.M. at the Church.  Interment at a later date.
