Theresa A. Miraglia (nee Pizzollo) 97, of Glen Mills, PA entered into eternal life surrounded by her loving family on February 14, 2019. She was the fourth of five children born to Maurice and Mary Pizzollo of South Philadelphia.

Theresa was an avid lover of music and dance. She was an award-winning roller skater and won a Beauty Cup competition in 1937. Theresa enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad; but most of all loved the Jersey Shore. Spending her summers with family and friends on the beaches of Atlantic City and Ventnor were some of her fondest memories.

She was a devout Catholic throughout her life. Her devotion to God was equally as strong as her devotion to her family. She spent decades lovingly and selflessly caring for her four grandchildren. She shared her love of singing, cooking, baking, and of course eating with them. Her endless dedication to her family continued as she cared for her mother, Mary, as she aged. Years later, her six great-grandchildren benefited from these experiences as they witnessed her love for life. She was humble, caring, an excellent story teller, and had a great sense of humor. She gave all of herself to those around her, she never put herself first, and all of her actions displayed patience, love, and understanding. She showed unconditional love, all the days of her life. Her memory and the example that she set will remain in the hearts of those who loved her forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Maurice & Mary Pizzollo, Siblings: John (Jo), Mae (Primo), Angelo (Mary), and Julian.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Dr. Phyllis A. Maloney (Edward deceased). Grandchildren: Edward Jr. (Jennifer), Mary Regina, Joseph (Laura), and Theresa (Jeffery). Theresa is also survived by her six beloved great-grandchildren: Julian, Ariana, Isabella, Liam, Mackenzie, and Hunter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation Tuesday morning, February 19, 2019, from 9:15 - 10:15 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.
