Shirley Joanne (Floyd) Donnon

Shirley Joanne Donnon (nee Floyd) of Exton, formerly of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at the age of 82.  She was the wife of the late Edgar Donnon, and the daughter of the late Winston and Vera Floyd.  
After graduating from the local Fayetteville High School, Shirley attended secretarial school and went on to work for Wyeth Pharmaceutical Company, and later Exxon Corp.  In later years, Shirley worked as an organ board technician for Ensoniq Corp. based out of Malvern.  She enjoyed swimming, going to the beach, sewing, floriculture, listening to classical music, and her puppy dogs.  She was an avid sports fan and loved the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, and she was over the moon when the Eagles became Super Bowl Champions.  She also enjoyed watching her nephew Raymond Floyd play professional golf.  Family was everything to her.
She is survived by one son, T. Scott Beavers, husband of Leslie Ann of Coatesville; two daughters, Ginger Joy Christman, wife of Carl Stanley Christman of Germansville, PA and Kandy Gay Anthony, wife of Michael Anthony of Warwick, MD; and her granddaughters, Tara Joy Beavers, wife of Shaun Abel of Coatesville, Julie Anne Swinscoe of Germansville, Ashley Rose Anthony of Exton, Angela Rae Anthony, and Michaela Nicole Anthony, both of Warwick, MD.
Funeral services are being handled privately at the convenience of the family.
