Sean G. Aaron passed away at the age of 50 on June 7, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Aaron and his eldest brother “baby Tommy.” Sean was born on January 9, 1969, in Darby, Pennsylvania to his loving parents, Tom and Pat (Hughes) Aaron. He was raised as an adored member of the Yeadon community and graduated from Pennwood High School in 1987.
The story of Sean and his wife, Dee, began at the age of 14 and it was love at first sight. They were inseparable. Sean and Dee married in 1990 and settled in Southwest Philadelphia where they started their family. Sean was extremely proud of his five beautiful daughters. (Yes, he really had five daughters!) Sean loved his girls and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. From softball coach to “dance dad”, he was frequently seen driving Dee and the girls around and being involved in every aspect of their lives. He was the most devoted husband, father and Poppy.
Sean just celebrated his 25th anniversary working for Septa, alongside his two brothers and cousin, as a Facilities Manager. He was a hard worker known for being reliable, extremely kind, and honest. Sean was always willing to share a warm smile and lend a hand to anyone who needed his help.
Sean was a loving man with a huge heart, who was always there to listen to problems, provide a shoulder to cry on and help in any way he could. He loved to bring a smile to everyone’s face, and never missed an opportunity for a good scare. No matter what time day or night, if there was a problem you knew you could count on him. He was a jack of all trades: a human GPS, handyman, chef, self claimed comedian, “taxi driver,” the best alarm clock and gave the best bear hugs. All who knew him, loved him... Sean was truly one of a kind.
Sean is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Dee (Ryan), 5 children: Nicole, Alyssa (James Flick), Stephanie, Lyndsay, Kristen, and his grandson, Seany. His mother, Pat Hughes Aaron and his siblings, Patti (Watts), Thomas (Robin), Brian (Chrissy), Kristine (Joseph Tamberella). Many cousins, nieces and nephews. Though a biological father to five, he was a “Dad” to so many.
