Watters, Rosemary (nee Bradley)
On January 11, 2020, a beautiful spring day in the middle of winter, Rosemary Watters passed after a short illness.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister, cousin, daughter, and friend. Rosemary's care for her family and friends was boundless, having been the primary caregiver for many family members during her lifetime. Her kindness, nurturing, and intelligence were overshadowed only by her quick wit, desire to share family histories, and her addiction to glittering jewels. Rosemary was adept in encouraging the dreams of others, offering 'suggestions,' and praying ardently for the happiness and well-being of those she loved. Her presence will be missed, along with her touch with family favorites including rice, corn starch, and bread puddings, assorted pies, and her epic beef stew. Rosemary's wisdom, care, and love will be ever-present in her family and friends as they carry her influence and example forward.
Surviving Rosemary are her children, Christopher Watters (Amy) and Judeanne Armenti, both of West Chester; her grandchildren, Joshua and Katherine Watters; her brothers, Thomas J. Bradley (Adrianna) of West Chester, William J. Bradley (Barbara) of Berwyn, and Donald E. Bradley (Anita) of Ardmore; her in-laws, Marilla Watters of Devon, Margery Covello (James) of Philadelphia, and Patricia Sheppard (Paul) of Chester Springs; her cousins Denise Rolleri and Peter Rolleri (Ginger); 26 nieces and nephews, and many, many beloved great-grand nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Michael J. Watters; her parents Thomas J. and Kathryn M. (Finerty) Bradley; her sister and brother-in-law Helene and Ralph Dastalfo; as well as her in-laws William Watters and Mary and Gerald Oetzel.
