Roland John Flowers

Roland John Flowers, 72, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018.  He was born on January 29, 1946 in Philadelphia to Ada May (Grimes) Flowers.  Roland grew up in the Philadelphia area and attended Darby-Colwyn High School and graduated in 1964.  He attended Temple Prep for a year before heading south to Salem College, WV where he was a proud member of the Omega Delta Phi Fraternity.  Roland graduated in 1969 and ​served in the Army.​

Roland adored his family, and spent time with them.  He loved playing with his grandchildren and visiting his father in sunny Florida.  He enjoyed golfing with friends and teaching his grandchildren about Star Wars and Star Trek.

Beloved son of Edward Flowers of Saint Petersburg, FL; beloved father of his loving daughter Victoria (Tory Flowers) Stagnaro and husband Eric Stagnaro of Berwyn, PA; his loving son Joshua Flowers and wife Anne Halsey-Flowers of Chicago, IL; his loving daughter Danielle Flowers of Doylestown, PA; and his adoring grandchildren Maria, Eva, Jimmy and Emerson.

Visitation will be held at Logan's Funeral Home, 57 South Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083 on Thursday, May 17​ from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  Family will greet friends and relatives from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. and a memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. at the Logan Funeral Home also.
