On Dec. 27, Rick passed suddenly and peacefully into the Lord’s hands. His beloved wife Eileen and their dog, Chase, will forever miss Rick. He also leaves behind seven siblings with whom he shared many adventures in life: Skip (Carole), Grace Ann (Don), Michael (Michelle), Anita, Jeanne, Steve (Melanie) and Lori (Bob). Also survived by his daughter, Erin Valentine and extended family including nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New Hampshire. He will also be missed by Eileen’s children Jeff and Molly and so many others whose lives he enriched with shared stories and laughter.
At the time of his death, Rick was employed by Hilton Garden Inn. Rick at his core was a working man. He loved to fix things and make people smile. He shared many stories of the people he met at the hotel or when working in the fitness industry at ACAC. His happiness was driven by making others comfortable and seeing people smile. He had a wide range of interests and enjoyed riding his Harley, playing golf, jigsaw puzzles and reading.
A Celebration of his Life will be scheduled for a future date.
