Richard Michael DiMonte, D.O.

Dr. Richard Michael DiMonte, age 78, passed away October 21, 2018. Dick met his loving wife at 16 years old and they were married for 56 amazing years.  He attended St Joe’s Prep where he excelled in football and baseball. He went on to Temple University for Pharmacy school. After which he moved onto medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He dedicated over 50 years of his life to being a family physician who was known as one of the most caring doctors in the neighborhood.

He was the most dedicated father and Poppy to his 5 grandchildren. He dressed as Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and whatever Halloween costume Grammy would make him wear.

He was a die-hard Eagles fan and loved to play golf. He will forever be known for his quick wit and to create laughter whenever he was in a crowd.

Beloved son of the late Harry & Marie DiMonte.  Survived by his devoted wife, Edye (nee Cantwell) DiMonte , his loving children Michelle (Rob) Leone, Jodi-Marie (Bill) Muffley, Richard and Stephen, and his adoring grandchildren Victoria, Kristina, Caroline, David, and Ella.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 9:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Logan Funeral Home, 698 E.
