Rachel Marie Orlando

Rachel Marie Orlando, age 22, of  West Chester, PA passed away suddenly on Nov. 15, 2017.  Survived by her loving  parents, David A. & Colleen (nee Kelly) Orlando, loving siblings Deborah (Dave) Listman , David (Lorri) Orlando Jr., Diana (Richard) Branton, Nicholas, Marissa, and Michaela.  Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

On November 15, 2017, we suddenly lost our loving daughter, Rachel. She was the love of our lives. Rachel was full of life, and loved to surround herself with friends and family.

We enjoyed watching Rachel play soccer and basketball and she was a very competitive player.  From birth she was attached at the hip with her best friend and brother, Nick. They did everything together and never left each other’s side. Rachel has two younger sisters, Marissa and Michaela, or Meatball, as she called her. They've always adored Rachel and aspire to be like her.

She had a contagious laugh and a smile that lit up the room. Rachel was very welcoming and got along with everyone she met. She was a driven, honest, outgoing, down to earth person. She was an extremely hardworking, intelligent, determined person, and loved to make other people proud of her. Rachel loved and valued music, and greatly enjoyed going to concerts. Rachel recently graduated from Penn State, her dream school, with a degree in Risk Management and we could not have been more proud.

We’re not ready to say goodbye, but instead say, "we'll see you on our next journey."  Rachel, you will be held in our hearts forever. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM, Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, St. Maximilian Kolbe Church,  15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester, PA 19382 where friends may visit 8:30-10:15 AM Tuesday at the church. 

Interment private. 

In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions be made to Penn State Univ., University Park, PA 16801.
