Paul J. Coady

October 10, 1953 - November 16, 2017 Paul J. Coady, 64, died on November 16, 2017 of natural causes in San Francisco. Paul's career as a labor and employment attorney spanned nearly 40 years. At the time of his death, he was managing partner of the Los Angeles office of Payne & Fears. Paul graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and from Harvard Law School. A long-time resident of Los Angeles, Paul was an avid runner who loved skiing and hiking, and was an admirer of contemporary art. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, he lived in Broomall, Pa., and Norristown, Pa. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Coady, Katharine Orlando (John), Carol Okonski (the late Henry), Michele Stern (Richard), and Frances Coady, by brothers David Coady and Joseph Coady (Rene), as well as nine nieces and nephews, a grand-niece and grand-nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael G. Coady and Cecilia T. Coady, and by his sister Cecile DiBona (Alfred). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Phillip and James Church in Exton, Pa. A memorial service will be scheduled in Los Angeles in January 2018.
