Nicholas Rabbetts

Nicholas Rabbetts, age 91 of Exton, PA  on February 18, 2018 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.  Loving son of Philip and Helen, Nick is predeceased by his wife Lorraine (Hunold) and is survived by his children, John Rabbetts (Michelle), Niki Block (Douglas), Jeffrey Rabbetts (Holly) and Lorrain Klina (Richard) and by 8 grandchildren, Michael, Kathleen, Joshua, Richard, Zachery, Nicholas, Kristin, and Alexandra, 1 great granddaughter, Riley and a brother, George and sister Ann.

Nick served his country in the Navy during World War II and the Navy reserves for an additional 5 years.  He retired as a welder from the Philadelphia Navy Yard in 1981.  Nick was deeply devoted to his family and his faith, attending church daily and was an active volunteer for the transportation of seniors, the Salvation Army and St. John's Hospice in Philadelphia delivering food to the poor.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, Feb. 21st at Saints Philip & James Church, 107 N. Ship Road, Exton, PA  19341 where friends may call 9:30 - 10:15 A.M.  at the church.  Interment Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.  In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions be made to Catholic Charities, The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia, 100 North 20th Street, Suite 301, Philadelphia, PA  19103.
