Marie Phyllis Panico

Marie Phyllis Panico, 89, passed away on Oct. 10, 2017. She was born and raised in South Phila and graduated from South Phila. H.S. for Girls in 1945 before moving to Yeadon in 1953 where she resided until 2015. Marie worked for General Accident Fire and Life Insurance Co. and then The Delaware Management Group where she worked as a data entry clerk until her retirement in 1991.

Marie’s love for her family and friends was evident to all. Marie always had concern for everyone’s wellbeing before her own.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and watching classic movies and listening to Big Band music.  Her kind spirit was evident to all who knew her.

Marie was the daughter of the late Francis P and Anna (nee Veldorale) Panico Sr.

Marie is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Francis P. & Deanna J. Panico Jr. of Yeadon, Nephews Edward V. Panico of Yeadon and Francis & June Panico III of Springfield. Marie is also survived by her Great Nieces, Ashley Marie Panico of West Chester, PA, Alexa Catherine Panico Brennan & Kevin Brennan of West Chester and Great Nephew, Francis P. Panico IV of Springfield.

Friends and relatives are invited to her funeral mass 11:15 A.M. Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at St. Louis Church, 821 W. Cobbs Creek Pkwy, Yeadon, PA 19050 where friends may visit 9:30-11:00 A.M. Friday at the Church.  Interment Holy Cross.
