John J. McBrairty

John J. McBrairty, of West Chester passed away on December 19 , 2018 at the age of 86.
John was born in Hazelton, PA and graduated from St. Gabriel High School in 1951.  After high School he went to King's College and graduated in 1955.  After college John worked for Nationwide Insurance Company for over 40 years.
John is the son of the late John and Hazel (nee Everly) McBrairty.  
He is the the beloved husband of 62 years to Margaret A. (nee Dutz) McBrairty.   Loving father of Maureen, Lynn (Robert) Fitzgerald, Timothy, Kevin (Kathleen) and the late Michael McBrairty.  Grandfather of Michael and Kelly Fitzgerald, Erin and Michael McBrairty, Arlie Froetschel and Matthew Fitzgerald.  Brother of Maryanne Spieth, Charles and the late Edward McBrairty.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.  
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, 11:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester, Pa 19380, where friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to mass.
Interment is private.
