September 13, 1938 ~ July 20, 2017 (age 78) 78 Years Old
Helen Mary Cook (nee Moore), beloved wife of John J. V. Cook for 55 years, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 20, 2017 after a brief stay at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital. Predeceased by her daughter Veronica Cook and her brother Robert Moore, she is survived by her husband, daughters; Helen (John) Bossong, Julia (Stephen) Cutting, son John (Melissa), 7 grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Mikayla, Carley and Courtney Cook, Fiona and Finlay Cutting, Johnny and Jimmy Bossong, brother Edward (Winnie) Moore and sisters in law Mary Anne Moore and Anna Cook. Helen will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who shared many good times with her.
Helen was truly a peace-filled person. She was devoted to God and she loved her family. In her 78 years she touched so many lives in her gentle, kind, humorous, thoughtful and loving way. If you met her, you immediately recognized her goodness. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 5th at Annunciation B.V.M. Church 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083 where family and friends may visit 9:45-10:45 A.M. at the Church. Interment Private.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Crozer Keystone Hospice, who were so wonderful in caring for Helen and made her last days so comfortable and peaceful.
