Grace R. Valente

Grace R Valente, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away on February 25, 2019 at the age of 97.  Grace went to South Philadelphia High School.  She worked for Whitman's Chocolates before she began her career with the United States Government at the Quartermaster in South Philadelphia.  Grace handled the procurement of food provisions for all branches of the United States military until her retirement in 1988.
Daughter of the late Francis and Carmella (nee DeGenova) Valente.  Sister of Salvatore Valente and Maria "Tina" Valente and predeceased by Rita Lamb and Evelyn Delaney.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday Evening, March 1, 2019,  from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home, 57 South Eagle Rd., Havertown, PA 19083 and her Funeral Mass , 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 2, 2019, at St. Dorothy Church, Burmont and Township Line Rds., Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
