METZ, DANIEL J. on July 28, 2017, age 71 years, formerly of Juniata and Grays Ferry. Predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Richard, and brother Richard. Beloved husband of 47 years to Catherine (née Costello). Devoted father of Daniel (Sheri), Christine (Ryan) Maguire, Kevin (Theresa), and Lauren (Michael) Norden. Loving grandfather of Evan, Alexandra, Kevin, Callie, Avery, Brynn, Jacob, and Emily. Also survived by brother Thomas (Margaret). Relatives and friends are invited to Daniel's viewing Friday, Aug. 4, 9-10:45 AM at St. Gabriel Church, 2917 Dickinson St. in Phila, PA 19146, immediately followed by mass at 11 AM and final resting at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support 376 N. Latchs Ln. Merion Station, PA  19066 in Daniel’s name would be much appreciated.
