Cathleen "Kate" R. (McLaughlin) Truax

Cathleen R. "Kate" (nee McLaughlin) Truax, age 77, of Havertown, passed away on February 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Graduate of West Catholic Class of 1959. Long time resident of Yeadon where she was a teacher at St. Louis School for 25 years.  She also taught at St. Joseph's in Collingdale and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Morton, PA for a few years.  She enjoyed summers at the Yeadon Swim Club and,  later in life, Sea Isle City.

Loving wife of the late Francis D. "Trixie" Truax.  Survived by her sons; Francis (Marita), Dennis (Joanne) and Timothy (Kristen Kolody) Truax. Grandchildren; Lydia, Carli, Gianna, Francesca, John, Danielle, Ryan and Kevin. Sister of Francis (Diane) McLaughlin and the late MIchael McLaughlin.  Sister-in-law of Betty & Joe Santilla.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Mass: Thursday 10:30 AM at St. Louis Church, West Cobbs Creek Pkwy., Yeadon, Pa 19050.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM Thursday at St. Louis Church.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery
