Andrew "Ongy" Shuda, Jr.

Andrew "Ongy" Shuda, Jr., age 94, of Grays Ferry passed on July 8, 2018.  World War II Army Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient.  Retired Arco Employee.  

Beloved husband of 69 years to Alice (nee Hughes) Shuda..  Loving father of Drew (Kathleen), Kathleen (John) Washkalavitch, Fran (Theresa), Christine (Patrick) Murray.  Loving Grandfather of Kelly, Kasey, Killeen, Kerry, Allison, Lauren, Christopher, Colleen, Andrew Kyla, Evan and Great grandfather of 8.  Beloved brother of Michael Shuda, Florence Rensimer, Pauline Gramiak, and the late Maryann, Francis, John, and Thomas & Elizabeth Sikora.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 16th at St. Gabriel's Church, 29th & Dickinson Streets, Phila., PA  19146 where friends may call 9-10:45 A.M. at the church also.  Interment Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions be made to Our House Ministries, 1447 S. 29th Street, St., Phila., PA 19146  or St. Gabriel's Church,  29th & Dickinson Sts., Phila., PA 19146.
