Martha Helen Drew, 77, of Havertown, PA, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 22, 2022.

After marrying Jim on November 27, 1965, they moved to Norfolk, VA where he was stationed aboard the USS Hermitage LSD. Once out of the Navy they moved back to Philadelphia in 1969. She worked in many capacities over the years including at Girard Bank until Jay’s birth. Then she began her service to the community working with the PTA of Manoa Elementary and Haverford High school. She worked with the Band Parents (BOPS) serving hot drinks in Dog House during football games. She served two churches over her life, Wissahickon Baptist and Union United Methodist. That service included being a Sunday school and youth group teacher. She continued her service through many committees including the United Methodist Women where she was President, VP and Treasurer. She worked on the Trustees, Leadership Team, Staff Parish Relations, Futuring, Mr. & Mrs. Club and Worship committees. She especially enjoyed the camaraderie of her Circle group and working every summer with the children for Vacation Bible School.
