Kathryn A. Harvey

Kathryn A. Harvey (nee Kenney), 79, of West Chester (formerly of Frazer), passed away peacefully at her home in Wellington at Hershey’s Mill on Monday, April 15, surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 15, 1945, to Anne (nee Fantacone) and Francis J. Kenney, Kathryn was a 1963 graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School and obtained her Registered Nurse (RN) designation from the Nursing School at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital.

Kathryn cared for patients at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital and Chester County Hospital over her 40-year nursing career.

Kathryn, a doting mother and grandmother, treasured annual family vacations down the shore. She also enjoyed her time at Wellington over the past ten years, during which she was lucky to have made good friends.

Kathryn is survived by her children Christopher (Bernadette) Harvey, Patricia (Andrew) Kramer, and Michael (Tracy) Harvey, her grandchildren Tyler Harvey, Ryan and Grace Harvey, and Ella and Graham Kramer. She also leaves behind her loving brothers, Frank and John Kenney, and her best friend of 75 years, Patti Ruggieri.

Kathryn was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles, in 2013, with whom she shared a wonderful 46 years of marriage.

Please join her family on Friday April 26, for viewing after 9:30 AM at Saints Philip and James Catholic Church, Ship Rd. and Rt 30 in Exton PA. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00am.
