William J. Nolan

William J. Nolan, on January 15, 2016, age 92, of Newtown Square, formerly of Yeadon, PA.  WW II Marine Corp. Veterans and survivor of Okinawa and Peleliu.  Member of the General Smedley D. Butler League, Detachment 741, of Newtown Square, where he tirelessly devoted countless hours raising money for the Wounded Warriors up until the end of his life.  Loving husband of 68 years to Evelyn (nee Harrold) Nolan.  Father of the late Dennis Nolan.  Father-in-law of Lynn (nee Larney) Nolan.   Grandfather of Rebecca Lee and the late Steven Lee.  Brother of the late Thomas J. and Francis J. Nolan.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Wednesday, 1/27/16 at 11:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church. 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, Pa 19073, where friends may call from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. 

Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
