Thomas J. Aaron passed away at the age of 74 on May 1, 2016 at his home in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. Tom was preceded in death by his infant son “Baby Tommy” and his parents, Norman and Helen Aaron. Tom was born on June 11, 1941 in Darby, Pennsylvania to his parents, Norman Aaron and Helen (Montgomery) Aaron. He was raised in Southwest Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys in 1959. Tom met his wife Pat when they were young teenagers. He took her on their first date to the Our Lady of Loretto Carnival where their love blossomed. From that point on, they were inseparable. Tom and Pat married in 1963 and settled in Yeadon, where they started their family and in quick succession had six beautiful children.

Tom worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer as a Stereotyper and later a Pressman for over 32 years, retiring in 1998 due to illness. In addition to working at the Inquirer, he also owned and operated a lunch truck through the majority of the 70’s and 80’s, servicing the hard working and hungry employees of the Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News and the General Electric Plant in Southwest Philadelphia. Tom, along with his wife Pat, ran the snack stand at the Yeadon Swim Club for many summers.

Tom lived life at full throttle. He was sincere, loving, honest to a fault, and quick to crack a joke.  He loved playing practical jokes on just about anyone. He had little or no boundaries and definitely no filter.  Tom was a loving man with a huge heart, who was always there to listen to problems, provide a shoulder to cry on, and help in any way he could.

In his earlier years, Tom enjoyed fast cars and motorcycles. He would often be seen, or in most cases heard, flying around town on his motorcycle. In his later years, he settled down a bit and found great pleasure in cruising his grandchildren around on his four wheeler or go cart at his second home in the Pocono Mountains.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia(Hughes), 5 children; Patricia(Brian Watts), Thomas Jr(Robin),  Sean(Dee), Brian(Christine), and Kristine(Joseph Tamberella), his sister, Helen(William Cook), his 15 grandchildren; Brittany, David, Alexis, Kacie, Tommy, Eric, Nicole, Alyssa, Stephanie, Lyndsay, Kristen, Brian, Taylor, Devon and Joey, his 1 great grandchild; Sean, 9 nieces and nephews, and an innumerable number of friends he made as he traveled through life.

Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 57 South Eagle Rd. Havertown, PA 19083 on Sunday, May 8, 2016  from 6-8  PM. Mass will be held at Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church, 821 West Cobbs Creek Pkwy, Yeadon, PA 19050  on Monday May 9, 2016  at  11 AM with visitation prior from 9:30 -10:45 AM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company, Hwy 534 West, P.O.
