Kinsolving, Rosemary M (Nee McGrail) peacefully at her home on Friday, April 22, 2016.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joseph F. Kinsolving, Sr., her parents Clarence and Margaret McGrail, 4 grandchildren and 3 nephews.  Rosemary was born September 21st, 1932, the first child, the only daughter to Clarence and Margaret.  She grew up in Southwest Philly, graduating from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1950.  Rosemary was a stunning young woman who caught the eye of a young sailor named Joe.  They were married in February 1953.  After doing the apartment life, they bought their first home in Woodbury, New Jersey.  With their growing family, they moved to Yeadon, PA where she became a dedicated member of Saint Louis Parish and remained until her death.

Once her children were in school, Rosemary decided she wanted to further her own education.  She started classes at what is now Widener University.  She loved it.  She thrived.  She was an inspiration to other women. She was a leading advocate in education for women and assisted with the start of a program called Widener Way for Women back in 1974.  Rosemary also worked at the Philadelphia Inquirer starting in payroll and ending in distribution.  Rosemary worked at the Philadelphia Inquirer for many, many years.  Even earning employee of the year.  She was well respected and very dedicated, so much so that she retired three separate times.  Her final retirement in 2013.

Rosemary was an avid reader.  She enjoyed a good mystery, game shows, and winning every time.  She loved her shoes, getting the same shoe in every color.  She loved flowers and plants.  She not only had a green thumb she had green fingers as well. She loved a good argument about any subject, Elvis Presley, going to the casino, and a day at the beach with her toes in the sand.  And many know she was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies fan.  She watched and cheered the games.  Win or lose she was steadfast in her dedication to “her” teams.  After retirement she stayed busy with her beloved youngest daughter Krissy, talking over life’s lessons, grandkids, and just enjoying not having to be anywhere on someone else’s timetable.

Rosemary is survived by 8 children Joseph Jr (Gail), Karen, Meg, Bonnie (Horace Jones), Bill, Rosemary (Mike Haines), Michele, and Kristine (David Remshard).  Her 2 brothers, Joseph (Mary) McGrail and John (Maureen) McGrail.  29 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 8 nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.  She travelled each and every road with dignity, poise and passion in her life.  This amazingly beautiful, intricate woman will be missed by so many.
