Patrick J. McFadden, Sr.

Patrick Joseph McFadden, 80, recently of Malvern, died peacefully on May 10, 2016.  He was married to the love of his life, Catherine Marie "Kay" (nee Diamond) McFadden, also of Malvern, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in West Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Hugh and Margaret McFadden. He was the fourth of 7 children and is survived by sisters, Theresa Ford of Havertown, PA;Cass Hostler of King of  Prussia. PA; Grace Kerns of West Palm Beach, FL; and brothers Fr. Michael McFadden OSA of San Diego and James McFadden of Richmond, VA. He was preceded in death by his sister,

Margaret McConville.  He is also survived by his six children: Barbara Lesky (Tom) of Malvern, PA; Patrick J McFadden (Dot) of Landenberg, PA; Michael D McFadden (Melanie) of Chester Springs, PA; Robert Hugh McFadden (Ashley) of Skillman NJ; Eileen Marie Conway (Jeff) of Phoenixville, PA and Kathleen Marie Hertelendy (Mark) of Easton, MD. Pat was devoted to his twenty two Grandchildren and three Great-grandchildren.

Pat was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and The Wharton School of Business at University  of  Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics. Following his discharge from the US Army, Pat created a successful career in the insurance industry.

Funeral Mass:  Friday 11:30 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1327 E Boot Rd, West Chester, PA 19380.

Visitation: Friday May 13th, from 9:45 to 11:15 AM  at Ss. Peter and Paul Church prior to Mass.

Interment will be a private family ceremony.
