What a kind and gentle soul. Yet tough when he had to be. He encouraged us to experiment with words, to put our thoughts on paper and to think outside of ourselves. As Mr. Young would say often, "To develop the writer, develop the man." Mr. Sikorski helped us do that. What a lasting effect he's had on so many. God Bless You, Mr. Ski.

Mr Sikorski was indeed a great man. May he rest in peace!

He played a special role in our lives, too. He was a friend, teacher, mentor, consoler and lifelong inspiration. I remember him first from visiting West Catholic as a child, was honored to have him at my wedding and grew closer to him after my own Dad's death. It is saddening to have lost a special presence in life and the world. God has gained an angel, and I can imagine Mike and Daddy having a ball together up in heaven. Dad had enormous respect for him, his mind, strength, allegiance, leadership and intellectual curiosity and I learned later how much he would mean to me personally, as well. It's a comfort to know they have each other there.

Thank you for all you did, Mike! You'll be missed.

Mike Sikorski was the best teacher I had as a student. I became a teacher because of his influence, and i have spent my life in educational service because of the great teaching of Mike Sikorski.
His life may have ended, but his influence will live on forever - as those of us who carry his message in our hearts - will continue to pass it on to others who thirst for knowledge and truth... Thank you, Mr. Sikorski...

May the angels lead you into Paradise.
May the martyrs come and welcome you on your way
And lead you into the holy city, Jerusalem.
May the choirs of angels welcome you
And with Lazarus, who once was poor,
May you have everlasting Life. Amen.

May you live with the Lord and all the saints in glory.

This inspirational man had a great affect on me and continues too. He sparked an interest in me to read and I continue to do so today.

Mike was a gentle, inspiring soul. His passing is sad, but the fact that he lived for so many years and shared so much with so many students and colleagues is a powerful consolation. Rest in Peace, Mike. You made the world a better place.
