Margaret P. (Gibbons) Nostrand

Margaret Patricia (nee Gibbons) Nostrand passed away with her son and daughter at her side on February 14, 2017.  She was in one of the first graduating classes of women from Boston College.  She became a teacher, worked for General Foods and the Hillsdale, NJ Borough Hall.  She finished her career working for the Pascack Valley Board of Education.  She was a loving mother and grandmother to her four grandchildren.  She loved taking pictures of them and watching them grow.  She loved reading and researching her family history.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret A.(James) Stahelek of West Chester and son Peter C. (Kim) Nostrand of Hillsborough, NJ; grandchildren Michael, Van, Lizzy and Ally; and brother Timothy Gibbons of Medford, MA .  Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass Friday 11:00 A.M. at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA  19380 where friends may call 10-10:45 A.M. Friday at the church.   Interment Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions in Margaret's name be made to Children's Hospital of Phila, 3401 Civic Ctr.Blvd., St., Phila., PA 19104.
