Charles "Chuck" R. Waddy

Charles (Chuck) Waddy of Pottstown, PA  passed on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at his home. 

He was active in his children's activities and an avid volunteer for youth sports. He coached basketball for  25 years at Sts. Philip & James School in Exton, as well as coaching football for LAFA and softball for Exton Little League. In his later years, he volunteered his time to help raise funds for local charities.

He enjoyed playing golf and spending time in Ocean City, NJ.

Son of the late Agnes T. and Elton M. Waddy, he is preceded in death by his daughter Kathleen and his brother John.   In addition to his former wife,  Barbara A. Waddy, he is survived by his children Laurie Waddy Franke (Ingo), Matthew C. Waddy (Erica), and Kevin M. Waddy (Dana) and by his grandchildren, Kat, Anna, and Michael Waddy.

The funeral and interment will be private. However, the family welcomes guests in a Celebration of Chuck's life Friday, 8/19 from 3pm to 6pm at West Chester Golf and Country Club. 111 W. Ashbridge St, West Chester, Pa 19380.
