BRIAN EUGENE KLECKNER, born on September 3, 1946 (77), in Drexel Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024 after a short illness, at Sunrise Granite Run Assisted Living. Living most of his life in Lansdowne, PA, then moving to Upper Providence, PA, Brian is survived by his sister-in-law, Linda Koethe, along with eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Leon, Sr. & Agnes Kleckner, his sister, Agnes Outten and his brother, Leon Kleckner, Jr.
Brian is a graduate of Lansdowne Aldan High School. After school, Brian worked at the family owned Kleckners Texaco business in Upper Darby, PA with his father, Leon E. Kleckner, Sr. and his brother, Leon E. Kleckner, Jr. for most of his life until it was sold in 2001. He worked for a short while at the Giant in Aldan until moving to Upper Providence with his brother and sister-in-law. At that time, he started working at MacDonald’s in Media for a few years.
Brian was a devout member of St. Mary Magdelan’s Church in Media, PA before going into assisted living, but continued attending church services at Sunrise Granite Run.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 10-11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Logan Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008 followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of anyone’s choosing in Brian’s honor.
